BΛSΞ FRAMEWORK DOCUMENTATION

Created by Clients - for Developers and Clients

This Documentation is going to be an on-going work-in-progress, as we have a lot of tech and knowledge to share - and want to make sure it’s all very well documented. So, we appreciate your patience in advance!

1. BΛSΞ Overview

BΛSΞ is a one-of-a-kind micro framework in that it’s the first framework in the world to be created by Clients for Clients. But, if you’re a traditional Developer don’t worry, we made it super easy for you too.

BΛSΞ was engineered to be a single framework that could handle the simplest needs, like a Landing Page or Coming Soon page (maybe with a countdown timer and email capture) to the most sophisticated and advanced needs, like a custom web and/or mobile application with a RESTful, JSON-driven API, load-balancing, encryption, NGINX (or other compression), CDN, etc.

BΛSΞ is easy to use and lightweight with a low learning curve and was designed for rapid development, simplicity, and speed. It includes its own page-templating engine and is based on object-oriented programming (OOP) with an industry-standard, module-based MVC architecture. (ie. Model-View-Controller).

Best of all, BΛSΞ is just the foundation of the comprehensive BΛSΞ Platform, a full-stack PHP framework that comes with a fully completed, ultra-responsive HTML + PHP front-end. So, basically you get a fully ready, SEO optimized, responsive website right out-of-the-box - saving you countless hours of development, design and UI/UX work.

BΛSΞ Framework Contents

BΛSΞ comes in a .zip file with 2 files inside it:

1. Website/Framework Folders
2. .sql file (ie. database)

BΛSΞ is based on LAMP Stack (Linux + Apache + MySQL + PHP) and can typically run and be hosted on almost any Linux based hosting company. Minimum Requirements: PHP 7.2+

Recommended Hosting (Basic Shared Hosting up to VPS): GoDaddy, InMotion, BlueHost, HostGator, TMDHosting, etc. Note: For more resource-heavy needs, Dedicated Hosting is recommended

2. Install BΛSΞ

Download BΛSΞ

1. Upload the BΛSΞ .zip file to your root folder.

2. Extract the contents of the .zip folder

You should see folders, some files (like index-holder.html, index.php, .htaccess, etc) and a .sql file, ie. base.sql

Move the files around (keeping them in the same relative structure) if you need to in order to get them in your primary hosting folder (ie. "root" folder) for your domain.

3. Update Config Settings

1. Go to the config folder

5. Update URLs/Routes
